Big Bill

Big Bill is another 8 inch knockoff marked only "Made in Hong Kong". He came in a mailer type white box with the words BIG BILL on it and a stock number. I have not been able to identify what catalog he has come from yet. He is an interesting figure with a decent amount of poseability and is along the same lines as Mego's Action Jackson. He came with a slew of accessories, including spring-loaded machine gun and spring-loaded rifle that shoot super miniature bullets, a spring-loaded mortar that shoots rockets, and a spring-loaded bazooka as well. He also came with a pistol (six-shooter style), a holster belt, an army helmet, ammo belt, green army shirt and pants, a lightblue jumpsuit with zipper, an orange "inflatable" water vest, a red helmet with slip down visor, a color printed cardboard map, and he wears a single piece camouflage suit and black boots. The red hemlet is marked "MEGO" inside and is the same helmet used by the Alan Carter figure in the Space 1999 series made by Mego. The orange vest and even the clothes may also be Mego as they are near identical in every way. I'd like to thank Ron "Stabilio" Perritore for pointing out the markings on the helmet. After 7 years I had never even looked!
