Ceppi
Ratti
Ceppi Ratti was an Italian company that made some interesting
figures, including:"Il
Mondo Avventuroso di:" (The World of Adventure of:) Jimmy
Brown, Black Jack, and Tommy Bright. Essentially they were a
brown and blonde caucasion figure and a black figure all dressed
in the same clothes. They came on a blister card with the figure
contained on the right hand side. There is a booklet inside each
package. I have yet to find an open one to view it just yet.

Apparently
Ceppi Ratti and Bogi used the same figure (head and body) for
different clown figures. Bogi made "Pipo" who
is pretty famous in Europe and the Netherlands - you can read
more on the Bogi page. Ceppi
Ratti made at least 4 variations of Dondy -Il Clown - as shown
above - so if anyone can help me find out more... let me know. Thanks, Lou

Ceppi
Ratti was a toy distributor as well and apparently was in with Bogi again,
as this is the same body and head and a similar box style to
Bogi's Demo Girl.
Check
it out - another Internet submission of rare figures...

Here's
something cool: There's a connection with these outfits... They are made in Hong Kong and are also distributed as "Mighty Gary" and "Mighty Neil" in a similar box or baggie with the
same outfits as Soldato Mike. Notice, however, Soldato Mike's box is written in Italian on the back! Check out the Mighty Gary and Mighty Neil variations in the Mortoys section. Also available, but not
pictured are: (these are NOT direct translations, just what the English box says vs. the Italian box): Paracadutista (Air Force Flight Uniform), Sommozzatore (Navy Frogman), Beretto Verde (Green Beret).
