Popy

Popy is known as the "Japanese Mego". Although they did license a few characters for production such as Batman, they had their own original characters based on Ultraman and the Kamen Rider series of TV shows. The bodies were slightly different, and they all had boots and gloves made out of molded plastic instead of Mego's "oven mitts". They came in windows boxes full of great Japanese graphics. One of the problems is the outfits have a tendency to split at the seams.
