RT Toys

Distributed primarily through stores such as Woolworths (a popular 5&10 store until the early 1980s), RT Toys made a unique series entitled "Hero of the American Revolution". They fabricated figures with very little articulation and very soft (quite squishy!) heads. They were packaged in windows boxes with an attached side card. On here was written a small history of the character and their importance in American history. The best part about these figures is that they are well-scaled to Megos and the clothing is interchangeable enough to put them on the more desirable Mego bodies. They have a hard time standing up on their own in their production bodies.
