Mee Toys
Tim Mee Toys sported the original Mego Western series molds (sans
markings) to make their figures. Instead of snaps, they used velcro
to fasten clothing. The plastic for the bodies at times was colored.
For example, Cochise's body was tinted slightly red instead of
the typical Mego flesh color. The paint job on the faces isn't
as precise as their Mego counterparts, yet they are an excellent
representation of a good Mego knockoff. The blister cards also
used the original Mego art! The only difference is that they changed "Sitting
Bull" to "Geronimo". The back of
the card is unique in that they have a history of each
character on the back. There were 6 characters in the set.
