UNKNOWN ??
This
is like the dead letter office of knockoff action figures.
Figures that, for one reason or another, defy identification
end up here - until such time as they can be identified.
Your help in identifying these lost souls is greatly appreciated.

Heroes of the Desert Storm
Found in Germany of all places, these figures show the last known use of the Mego WW2 heroes molds from the 1970s, some new characters were created for this series, kind of neat actually.

War Hero: The Combat Man
These little guys are possibly the cheapest Lion Rock knock offs ever seen, they even look like greasy plastic. Their bodies are blow molded and they are put together without much care.

Canadian Exclusive?
These eight inch Mego like knockoffs were found in Mexico, the bodies are extremely crude and patterned after the Star Trek body. Other reported characters from this line include Cornelius from Planet of the Apes, Mazinga, Mexican hero Kaliman, the Keeper from Star Trek and even Lion-O from Thundercats!.

| Mystery Mountie

Canadian Exclusive?
This eight inch Mego like Mountie doll has a head of a Lion Rock World War 2action figure, the result makes him look something like a pin head. He is supposed to come with a hat, however this example is missing his. The snaps are velcro which suggest a release date of the mid eighties.

| Blow Molded Tarzan
|

Tarzan or Superman?
This cheap blow molded Tarzan obviously has a face based on the eight inch Mego Superman, there are variations of the chimp too. One version has the same chimp as the one from Mego Action Jackson sets.

| Blackbeard
figure of unknown origin |
OK, this
(believe it or not) is a copy of a Mego Blackbeard
head. He
is also the exact same cheap head and body of the
Judas Maccabee figure under KTAV
Publishing House.

Hey
Ladies, Get Funky...
Look
at these crazy things!! They are all Mandy the Pretty Doll
- variations of a cheap knockoff doll with distinct Mego clothing
and characteristics. The outfits are Spiderman (woman), Fantastic
Four, a wizard suit from the Wizard of OZ line and a Maryellen
